** LARA ** Lara has come along in leaps and bounds and is now ready for a new home. She loves being out and about on walks and in the garden. Lara needs a quiet home environment of just one or two people as she gets worried and will growl if put in the wrong situation, and may bite through fear. Her new home needs to understand her and respond appropriately to help her overcome her fear and give her guidance. She is responding well to clicker and whistle training which is helping her focus positively. She appears to respond best to men and is friendly when out and with strangers. She is happy to be left at home for reasonable periods of time and is house trained and not destructive, and not needy of company. Lara does like her own space and does not want to be over fussed. She has been very well behaved with other dogs that she has met, and although she has lived with a cat, we would prefer no small furries in her new home. Ideally, we would love Lara to have a home with someone experienced with her breed.
